Lion, or the scientific name Panthera leo is an animal from genus of the family Felidae cat. Lions are animals that live in groups. Usually consists of a male and many females.. Lions weight of approximately between 150 kg (females) and 225kg (male). Aged between 10 to 15 years in the forest. But if it can be maintained up to 20 years.

Lioness is much more active in hunting, while the male lions are more relaxed and always wait and ask for a share in the results of the female game.

Male lion believed to be much superior and powerful compared with other big cats but the weakness of the lions can climb trees is not as good as other big cats.

Male lion in a thick fur around his neck, it is more beneficial to protect the neck, especially in a free fight between the big cats, which is known for always pounce neck to paralyze the enemy.

Other big cats, such as Cheetah and Leopard has a much smaller body size than the Lions.

Lion is also the same as Tiger, which although originating from the same family, the Lion likes to swim, unlike the cat who fear the water, let alone swim.


HABITAT

Previously,Lion be alive in whole Africa,Eropa,Arabian and partly India.But,now Lion just detectable in Africa and partly India.It’s can happen because,Much Lion died in wild hunter hand.
